    Good

    I liked the location.

The hotel staff were not personable. I did not like the handheld shower. The room was equipped for handicap people and we were not handicap. The air conditioner ran constantly and did not seem to have a shut off thermostat.

    Superb

Hotel was very clean, quiet, and reasonably priced.

The motel was close to downtown, walking distance to many Glenwood Springs activities. Our friends have a small dog and this motel would accept a small pet for a fee.

It seem to be an older motel, my mattress was hard, old carpet and burn stains of appliances. We weren't there much so a place to crash at night was fine for us.

    Fabulous

Complimentary breakfast was excellent, what a variety! 3 blocks to Glenwood Springs pool which is a can't miss if in the area. I would recommend driving since you will be too relaxed to walk back....

    Fabulous

No frills here- not even an alarm clock. Standard room nice for the budget minded. Great location walking distance to downtown Glenwood and the tram to the adventure park is just around the corner. Awesome breakfast everything from cereal and bagels to make your own waffels and biscuits and gravy. Overall nice place would stay here again.

We were charged $20.00 more at check in then the price quoted and reserved for on Booked.net.

    LOcation

Dirty towels from previous inhabitant left in the room and the bed wasy way to hard.

Hotel was within walking distance from city center.

Upon arrival with my Booked.net confirmation in hand, I was told they did not have the room I requested ("junior suite") available and the price quoted on my confirmation was too low. I was offered the "budget" room for a begrudgedly similar price. This room was mediocre at best. Since we were just staying one night we didn't much care about decor. It was clean. As we were checking out, I tried to explain the discrepancy in Booked.net's room rate and description to the owner suggesting he might want to contact Booked.net to correct the error. He became defensive and was obviously annoyed. I dropped the matter, paid the bill and left.

    Exceptional

The location was great, close to downtown, the hot springs, and hiking trails. Breakfast was good and varied, and included home-made cake. They didn't have the room type I originally booked, so I got a discount, and seeing as I was not in my room much anyway, that was perfect. This motel is great if you are looking for a nice, safe place to stay at an affordable price.

My room was on a second floor and there were no elevators (which was only a problem when I was moving in with a heavy suitcase).

    Fabulous

Gail, lady at front desk, is amazing -- she has 5 balls in the air at once, never dropping any, and keeps her wry good humor. My husband called her the hardest workin' woman in the hospitality industry. Considering we were in a mtn. Tourist town over Mem. Day, that's saying a lot! Morning brkfst O.K., the usual stuff. Rooms clean and fairly spacious (we had queen double). Loved the sheets; they've been washed down to a very soft hand, but not thin or holey. Free unsecured WiFi network, a must for almost any traveler these days. Hot tub on premises. All in all, a pleasant place to stay.

Minor irritations -- pillows just right for me, rather thin and synthetic filling; husband likes fluffier, down-filled. Light over vanity pretty dim, and can't turn on light in tub/toilet room without turning on fan. The timer switch for the sunlamp doesn't work because lamp's been replaced w/smoke detector (kinda weird). Last, tub supposed to be a jet tub, but didn't work. To be fair, it was *not* advertised hotel had this amenity, just when we saw it we thought "great!", So disappointed when it didn't pan out. Big irritation - booked Jr. Suite online, and asked for smoking; got a non-smoking room. Immed. Went back to desk and got room swapped for smoking, but reg. Room not as nice as jr. Suite would've been and charged same price.

    Good

I liked the free breakfast in which you could make your own waffle.

The water temperature in the shower was too cold for me and I could easily hear the guests in the room above.

    Good

    Clean rooms decent breakfast.

The front desk would not give us a Junior Suite, even though that is what we paid for. The jacuzzi, was chained down and was only available from 6=10 PM. Rude front desk lady.

    Good

I liked the location, it was walking distance to the whole little town. We were backpacking and found this place good value for money!

Only the realy realy drunk guy in the next room and all the noise he made, but that was just bad luck!

    Fabulous

Room had a fireplace which offered a nice touch. Waffles for breakfast were a plus. Price seemed to be the best value in town.

cigarette burns in tub surface, but it is understandable that an un-caring previous guest caused damage that is minor, but very expensive to repair.

    Good

I liked the fact that the rate included the continental breakfast, mini-fridge, microwave, and hairdryer. I liked the location and also it was very easy to find. It is a good hotel for the budget-oriented traveler.

It could be me, but the bed was very hard for my taste, I could not sleep comfortably any of the three nights- stay. I think the hotel needs some updating.
